Requirements for getting a visa:
- Your valid and actual passport which must have at least six (6)months of remaining validity with at least one blank page to put aChinese visa certificate on that page.
- A completed and signed visa application form (download pdf >>)
- One passport size photo (black and white or color is acceptable).
- A visa assistance letter from IEEE ICCSC 2008 to attend conference*.
*There are many countries that China will grant tourist visas with no requirement for an Invitation Letter. For specific information on applying for a China visa from your country, please visit the Chinese Embassy in your country.

Visa Assistance Letters
Visa Assistance Letters can only be provided for attendees who meet one or both of the following requirements:
1. Are the author/presenter of an accepted technical paper for IEEE ICCSC 2008
2. Are registered for the conference with full payment
If you require a Visa Assistance letter please contact p.oneill@comsoc.org. Letters will be provided when proof of registration and payment can be confirmed.
